Steve Kindon is without question one of the funniest soccer characters you will meet. If you are planning an event, whether it is for your local football club, a rotary meeting or a corporate function, booking Steve will be one of the best things you ever do.
As a school boy, he played Rugby Union and was good enough to win International Honours, however he decided to take up soccer professionally and commenced his career at Burnley FC.
He was a powerful striker described as having “the Speed of a thoroughbred and the power of a hungry lion.” In 1972, Steve Signed for Wolves for £100,000. The Molyneux fans affectionately nicknamed him “The Tank” and he was an unbelievabley speedy player, who enjoyed the accolade of being the “fastest footballer in Britain” for seven years.
An injury at Huddersfield saw his playing career come to an end but luckily for us, it was discovered that he had talents other than football and as an after dinner speaker he has become one of the best entertainers today.
His speech will take you through his colourful soccer career and you'll hear about his encounters with many other great names along the way.
“The Boys from Burnley Show”
One of Steve Kindon's best pals is his former Burnley teammate Paul Fletcher. 'Fletch' went on to England U23 Honours and when he retired became involved in Stadium Management at Huddersfield , Bolton Wanderers, Wembley Stadium and now Coventry .
Kindo and Fletch are one of the funniest and most unusual soccer double acts.
Booking Steve for your event will be one of the best things you will ever do, a hilarious speech is guaranteed.
